Sash Windows Greenwich

Quick Contact

Greenwich is an early-established district London, it is more often described as within south-east London and occasionally the Docklands or East London.

Greenwich is notable for its maritime history and for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian (0 longitude) and Greenwich Mean Time. The town became the site of a royal palace and was the birthplace of many Tudors, including Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.

The palace fell into disrepair during the English Civil War and was rebuilt as the Royal Naval Hospital for Sailors by Sir Christopher Wren and his assistant Nicholas Hawksmoor. These buildings became the Royal Naval College in 1873, and they remained an establishment for military education until 1998 when they passed into the hands of the Greenwich Foundation.

We have a wealth of experience working on listed buildings and in localised conservation areas such as Dulwich, Greenwich, Forest Hill, Blackheath, Chislehurst, Bromley, Bickley, Westerham and Sevenoaks, Kensington & Chelsea and Knightsbridge: areas that were largely designed by Georgian and Victorian architects.

We will liaise with your local authority and architect to ensure your ideas are brought to a realistic and satisfying completion

Peter, Forest Hill
"We have had new sash windows built by Oak Joinery and their workmanship is great, we were also pleased with the fact that they gave good advice with the planning applications."

Roger, Greenwich
